For over 40 years, Tacchi has been designing and manufacturing lathes, turning centres and deep hole drilling machines for applications in the aerospace industry. Our machines, in addition to the normal turning operations, also allow drilling from solid and counterboring of components of landing gears as well as aircraft motor shafts.
Due to their stiffness, they are perfectly capable of machining components made of either nickel or cobalt based alloys or titanium.
Both the lathes and the deep hole drilling machines can be configured with a natural gap to be able to machine parts with possible protrusions typical of landing gear type applications.
